Christina Smith has been practicing law for 14 years. Ms. Smith began her legal career as a Writ Clerk for the West Virginia Supreme Court. Since leaving the West Virginia Supreme Court, she has worked as both a defense and a plaintiff's attorney. While working as a defense attorney she participated in defending numerous mass litigation cases, including work in tobacco and pharmaceutical cases, as well as defending doctors and hospitals in medical malpractice cases. She has spent the last eight years as a plaintiff's attorney and has concentrated her work in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, deliberate intent work place injuries, insurance bad faith, and medical malpractice.
Christina received her Bachelor's Degree from University of Kentucky in 1991, where she graduated with honors. She received her Juris Doctorate Degree from West Virginia University College of Law in 1997. Ms. Smith is licensed to practice law in West Virginia and Kentucky. She is a member of the West Virginia Bar Association and the West Virginia Association for Justice.
